Terms and Conditions

1. Ordering

1.1. By placing an order or registering, you consent to us storing your customer information in our customer register. Customer data is confidential. We commit to not disclosing customer information to parties other than our partners or authorities. When ordering through the online store, the information is transmitted to us securely.

1.2. When using the online store and placing an order, attentiveness and care must be exercised.

1.3. Industrial customers can create their own account for our online store by registering and use them to access wholesale prices. The use of new account requires activation, which is usually performed no later than the next working day. Using account also speeds up the ordering process, as delivery and billing information can be saved in the online store's memory.

2. Validity of the order

2.1. Communication between the parties occurs through email, postal mail, or phone.

After placing an order, the customer undertakes to monitor their email for the receipt of an order confirmation.

The customer should take into account that the order confirmation might be filtered as spam on the customer's computer.

2.2. The order is valid when our company confirms the availability of the product.

3. Prices

3.1. Arvo-Helat Oy reserves the right to change prices.

3.2. The prices in the online store include value-added tax, except for logged-in contract customers, who see prices without value-added tax.

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Payment can be made through one of the following methods:

  • In our online store
    • Online bank, card, or mobile payment
    • Advance invoice
    • Payment upon pickup
    • Invoice (for contract customers)

  • At our office
    • Payment card
    • Cash
    • Invoice (for contract customers)

4.2. Payments with card or instant payment in our online store (Paytrail)

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

4.3 Invoicing Options

Our invoicing options include:

  • Email invoice
  • Electronic invoice
  • Paper invoice
If you want an electronic invoice, provide electronic invoicing details when placing your first order.

5. Delivery Terms

5.1. Shipping Options

  • For Home Decorators
    • Delivered in Finland (minimum order 30 EUR)
      • As a parcel to the nearest post office (storage for 7 days) 6.99 EUR (including VAT).
      • Delivered to the door 15.69 EUR including VAT.
      • Option to exceed the minimum order can be found here.
    • Delivered in EU (minimum order 30 EUR)
      • The post charges for deliveries in EU will be presented in the invoice after we have processed the order.
    • Pickup from our warehouse (no minimum order)
  • For Contract Customers
    • Postage and delivery costs delivered to the door up to 10kg EUR 12.90 (0% VAT) for orders in Finland.
    • For packages exceeding 10kg or the maximum side length (1.0m), shipping costs will be shown in the order confirmation or invoice.
    • Unless otherwise agreed, delivery is from the seller's warehouse in Jurva (EXW).

5.2. Delivery Time

  • Immediate - depending on the payment method and stock availability.
  • We will contact the customer if there is a delay in shipping due to, for example, availability.
  • Products ordered from the online store will be shipped without a separate delivery confirmation.
  • Parcels can be tracked by using the OmaPosti application (depending on the destination).

5.3. Returns

Consumer customers have the right to return unused products within fourteen (14) days of receiving them. The following instructions must be strictly followed.

The returned product must be in substantially the same condition as when received. Notification of the return must be made; simply returning the product or not picking it up is not sufficient. For parcels left unclaimed at the post office, we will charge the customer for postage. Notify us of the return within fourteen (14) days either by email or by phone. If the package is over 1,0m long and you are sending from Finland, please mention this and wait for our specific instructions.

Returns must be sent to us by mail. The customer is responsible for the costs of the return or exchange.

Preferably delivered directly to us or to Posti (not to an automated parcel locker)

Upon receiving the return and confirming that it complies with our return conditions, we will reimburse the price of the products within the required 14 days. If all ordered products are returned, we will also refund the shipping costs for the most economical delivery method paid with the original order.

6. Product Liability

6.1. The customer must inspect the received product. If the wrong product is delivered or if the product is damaged, etc., the matter must be reported to us within a reasonable time.

6.2. We are not liable for indirect damages. If a product we supply has a defect, we will only replace the faulty part of the product. We are not responsible for damages caused by delayed, incorrect, or insufficient delivery.

6.3. The customer is responsible for the suitability of the product for the chosen purpose and use.

7. Force Majeure

7.1. Arvo-Helat Oy is not responsible if the delivery of a confirmed order is prevented, hindered, or delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, such as war, natural disaster, export or import bans, decisions of authorities, disruption of general traffic, or other similar activities that make operation difficult or impossible.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1. Disputes and disagreements arising from this distance selling agreement are governed by Finnish law.

8.2. If a dispute related to the sales agreement cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer can refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution.
